A. M. Qattan Foundation
The A.M. Qattan Foundation announced the availability of its 'Guest Residence', free of charge, to guests or consultants of local NGO's or to independent individuals, for the duration of their work period in Palestine under the following terms of reference:
- Palestinian NGOs (PNGOs) based in the Jerusalem/Ramallah area, and working in culture, arts, or education.
- Palestinian, Arab, and foreign individuals working in the cultural, artistic or educational fields, and willing to provide their services to, or implement projects for the benefit of, the local community.
Guests/Consultants of PNGOs who will implement a cultural, artistic, or educational mission/project of limited duration, and who meet the following criteria:
Palestinian, Arab or foreign experts with permanent residency outside the West Bank governorates
A work agreement or a letter of invitation by a PNGO specifying the objectives and scope of the mission/project, duration, cost, and sources of funding
Readiness to implement a cultural, artistic, or educational activity with the A.M. Qattan Foundation during the term of residency in coordination with the host PNGO.
Independent guests: Palestinian, Arab and foreign individuals with expertise in culture, the arts, or education are eligible for consideration if the following criteria are met:
Permanent residency outside of the West Bank governorates A detailed proposal of the mission/project to be undertaken during the residency. The proposal should specify the objectives and expected outcomes, a detailed implementation plan and budget (in dollars), and the sources of funding
Readiness to implement a cultural, artistic, or educational activity with the A.M. Qattan foundation during the term of residency
A small, detached and fully furnished and equipped one bedroom apartment, next to the A.M. Qattan Foundation building in Ramallah consisting of: Sitting room, Kitchen, Bathroom, Bedroom. The Guest House is suitable for couples. Residency does not include costs of meals or international phone calls.
