Based in Serpa (Portugal), Musibéria opened in 2011 with the mission of stimulating artistic creation and new educational contexts, from the Iberian cultural matrix in dance and music. The institution's main objectives are: to support artistic creation processes and to produce shows in the areas of dance and music; promote research into new experiences and pedagogical content; encourage cooperation with institutions of creation, training and artistic and educational diffusion; promote exchanges between creators, researchers and educators; promote regular and diverse artistic programming.
An old wheat factory was converted in facilities for artists, with 2 dance studios, 10 studios for music, auditorium, sound studio and gallery.
