International Clinic: Residencies

The number of residencies for designers, makers and architects around the world is growing. This edition of the International Clinic explores the complexities of international residency programmes and the opportunities, expectations and structures that they offer. Organised in collaboration with DutchCulture/TransArtists, it provides practical guidance and critical insights for individuals looking to develop their work internationally.

DutchCulture|TransArtists advisor Bojana Panevska is leading the event. Together with other advisor, DutchCulture|Transartists helps artists and cultural institutions navigate international residency programmes and other forms of cross-border collaboration. Drawing on her extensive experience of international programmes and supporting artists, Bojana will lead this interactive workshop on how to get started, what to look out for, how to prepare and strategies for planning a regenerative and meaningful residency.
Additionally, there will be a discussion with a -1 Digital Lab Resident at Nieuwe Instituut, Alexandra Martens Serrano.
