Grass roots artist run residency, you are invited into a unique and inspiring setting that opens its doors to creatives for the first time. Wendy has worked with an extraordinary and magical canvas of temperate rainforest, granite boulders residing, ancient celtic paths and old buildings full of character so that it is welcoming but still wild and provocative. The residency at Trenince Farm is a small, wide and life giving opportunity to let your work evolve with all that surrounds you, very much off the beaten track, full of bird song, solitude with nature, an animated history of the ancient Saints Way that runs through the land and a creative local community should you wish to share your work with others.

This programme is for all creatives, whether fine artists, poets, musicians, dancers, spoken word... all are welcome. Your private studio space is large and perfect for all practises. There is a log fire, as well as in your shepherds hut, and much inspiration to be taken from your surroundings. Whether you are working on a project already in motion or need to stop and reset and be lead by what speaks to you, there is much richness to be fed from. Residencies can be from 1 week to 3 weeks and if you are keen to have a show of any type at the end Wendy is happy to help you organise this. This is a new set up and still evolving and as the programme finds its shape the hope it will be as diverse and welcoming as the lichen in the forest that invite you to take your shoes off and feel the wild softness under your feet.
Wendy is a trained Spiritual Director, particularly drawn to the Celtic ways and offers one free session to you should you want. She is a full time artist and lives and works in her studio on the farm.
