Description
It is an independent initiative by Jonas Trento and Tiring House born in 2014, a research program between art and psychoanalysis.
Waiting room supports critical sensitivity, the ability to relate to current world issues and the importance of contemporary art research. Through the programming of residencies, exhibitions and public meetings with male and female artists and interlocutors selected for their ability to activate and construct different perspectives on places, Waiting room aims to engage in a debate by opening the Jonas headquarters to the public to stimulate ideas and sensitivity around the themes of the contemporary social bond by changing the perception on the treatment of discomfort.
Location
The Jonas Psychoanalytic Clinic Center of Trento has been operating in Trento since 2007. It presents itself as a place of listening that allows all those who turn to it to talk about their discomfort and to identify the problematic nodes whose transformation allows us to stop the repetition of what is experienced as painful.
Tiring House is a project that intends to explore, analyze and promote the relationships between art and current social, political and philosophical discourse. Through study, research, training and dissemination of art and other knowledge, Tiring House wants to make its contribute to building vital relationships between artists, intellectuals and citizens.
