Thai Child Development Foundation (TCDF)
The ART ECO Artist-in-Residence program is a program set up by the Thai Child Development Foundation (TCDF) and Eco-Logic, Resort for Charity. The program aims for local and international artists to come and live and work with the Foundation, its guests, volunteers and the local community. By hosting artists who work with recycled materials, photography or paint/drawing TCDF hopes to encourage people to conserve natural resources and promote new ways of thinking about art and the environment. Artists can be involve in an educational program on recycling in the weekends with the foundation, if they like.
ART ECO hopes that the Artist in Residence program will provide artists with the opportunity to learn and experience the possibilities of rural life in an Asian country (Thailand). The goal of the Art Eco Artist in Residence program is to develop a creative environment that creates awareness of culture and nature via art.
- Exhibition and reception at the end of the residency if desired
- ART ECO asks participating artists to make an artistic donation to the organization
