Description

Studio Faire is a contemporary art space in South West France, providing residencies for artists, writers and all other creative practitioners. They also organise creative and cultural events and courses to complement the residencies.

Studio Faire offers self-funded, self-directed residencies to international practitioners, working in any creative discipline, who would benefit from a period of uninterrupted time to focus on developing their work. Studio Faire’s residencies can offer time to focus on research and development to inspire a new body of work, to start and carry your practice into the future. The residencies can offer a change of pace from your normal routine, allowing time for problem solving, support through constructive feedback or the opportunity to try out ideas on a local audience before revealing them to the world. Studio Faire’s residencies can bring about cross-disciplinary collaboration or simply introduce you to new friends from different walks of life.

They welcome applications from all types of creative practitioner and from all ages and *abilities. (*All the bedrooms are upstairs so some mobility is required). As space is limited, applicants will be selected based on their experience, quality of work, project ideas and compatibility with any other resident(s) staying at the same time.
