
Stichting Simeon ten Holt
The Stichting Simeon ten Holt offers an artist in residency space in Bergen, Noord Holland, the Netherlands. Simeon ten Holt (1923-2012) is one of the most famous Dutch composers. Most of his work have been composed at this address, nowadays called 'Atelier Simeon ten Holt', a one-person's house and working place in the picturesque artist village of Bergen, surrounded by sea, forests and dunes.
The atelier is on offer to be used as an artist-in-recidence place for individual composers, musicians, writers or other professional artists who would like to focus on their projects. It offers a working- and living space with own garden and entrance. The house has kept the authentic atmosphere of Simeon ten Holt's working space. His renovated Steinway grand piano can be used. The atelier has a private bathroom with shower and toilet, kitchen and free wifi. There is a possibility for renting a bicycle nearby.
The atelier can be reserved for at least one week up to four weeks in a row. The residencies are personal and do not include any other accompanying person.
