Description

Over the years the residencies have become for Ramdom a tool and a working methodology whose purpose is to develop wide-ranging research aimed at investigating the main issues of contemporaneity.

The residency plan consists of hosting artists, curators and researchers from various disciplines (writers, anthropologists, philosophers, linguists, architects, urban planners, geographers, scientists, etc.) who deal with the local context while trying, at the same time, to accompany a broader reflection capable of intercepting themes and working methods that address a national and international dimension. This type of approach allows participants to constantly question what happens in culturally different contexts.

Each guest will investigate a specific theme or practice in dialogue with the research and projects developed by Ramdom so far.

Outcome

Methods, practices, contents; outcomes and processes will dialogue on the same level of interest. The final result, in the form of a process or work, will enter Ramdom’s archive or collection.

Accommodation Information

Spaces of KORA in Castrignano De ‘Greci (LE), will be intended for the hospitality of national and international artists. The rooms on the first floor will be designed to become a space for work and research. They will ask the artists to explore the territory and get in touch with the communities that will thus be able to become part of the creative process.
