Pragiedruliai Creativity Center is a creative hub in Panevėžys, Lithuania, run under the Stasys Museum. Set in the city’s largest park, the centre combines historic architecture with modern spaces, offering a peaceful, nature-filled environment that sparks creativity. Pragiedruliai is all about collaboration, openness, and connecting art with the local community, encouraging projects that grow beyond the studio.
The residency programme at Pragiedruliai Creativity Center offers time and space for artists and cultural practitioners to develop work in a supportive, nature-surrounded environment. Open to both emerging and established artists from Lithuania and abroad, the programme welcomes practices across visual art +glass, photography, textile design, audio-visual, applied theatre and interdisciplinary fields.
Residencies typically last from two weeks to two months and are offered through open calls, invitational formats, and project-based collaborations. Depending on the programme, artists may receive a stipend and accommodation, while in some cases a contribution toward accommodation costs may apply.
Residents are encouraged to engage with the local context through workshops, talks, or informal sharing, initiating exchange with the community and other creatives. The programme emphasises experimentation, collaboration, and the development of work that responds to place, environment, and social context.
Residencies at Pragiedruliai Creativity Center prioritise process, experimentation, and meaningful engagement with place. While no fixed final outcome is required, residents are encouraged to share their work or research through informal presentations, workshops, talks, or other forms of public engagement.

Residents at Pragiedruliai Creativity Center are accommodated on-site in one of two distinct residency spaces: The Tower (in a historic building) or The Black Room (in a contemporary wing). Both offer private, self-contained living and working environments, including sleeping areas, workspace, and kitchenette access, with abundant natural light and views of the surrounding park.
Residents also have access to shared facilities such as a communal kitchen and studios across the complex. Accommodation is designed to support focused, immersive work within a quiet, nature-surrounded setting.
Residents at Pragiedruliai Creativity Center have access to a range of shared studio spaces across the complex, supporting diverse artistic practices. These include visual art and glass, textile design, audio-visual, photography (darkroom), and applied theatre studios, as well as alotment/garden and exhibition spaces.
Studios are flexible and encourage both focused individual work and interdisciplinary exploration. Residents are invited to move between spaces and engage with the wider creative environment of the center
Studios are equipped with standard tools and equipment relevant to each discipline, including printmaking facilities, basic glassworking tools, sewing and textile equipment, and audio-visual production gear. A photography darkroom supports analogue processes, and an exhibition hall with integrated media system is available for presentations.
Use of equipment and specialised facilities is coordinated with staff, and availability may vary depending on scheduled activities. For projects requiring specific materials or advanced technical setups, additional costs or arrangements may apply.
