Description

PAS is a music venue and artist residency based in Moabit, west central Berlin. They are an established home for experimental arts.

Since Covid-19, PAS has opened its doors to artists who are looking for a work/live situation for a 3 month maximum stay. This project has been running since March 2020, since then we have had painters, musicians, Dj's, architects, dancers, buskers and jugglers live here. Friendships are formed, and collaborations happen often!

There is no fixed project that artists have to follow, they are free to create in any way they like. There is a residents showcase once per month which they are encouraged to take part in.

Outcome

The outcome is up to the artist. Friends are made, it is a nice introduction to Berlin, it is an opportunity to get some focused work done. Many things can be achieved in the given time frame.

Black Room (Venue, Function room, kitchen)
White Room (Co-Working, some sleeping places)
Shared Bedroom (6 Beds, including 2 double beds)
2 Bathrooms with 2 showers
Washing Machines, Dryers, Bedsheets, Towels provided

Studio Information

There are 2 main areas for working, the Black and White room:

The Black room is a venue, suitable for musicians, juggling, dancing, discussions.
The White room is for quiet work, painting, computer work etc.
