PAR Art Residency is a residency program located in Buenos Aires, open to local and international artists, performers, critics, curators and researchers that work on all mediums of art. At PAR, performing and scenic arts are established as a matrix from which to experiment, explore, create and dialogue with other disciplines. They encourage those who want to explore a performative approach in their work and we accompany the processes through tutoring and completely personalized mentoring. They understand the diversity of personal practices in artistic work and they seek to foster a productive exchange not only through the follow up of the processes of each resident but also with the intersection of these in collaborative dynamics. In the artistic field, the need to integrate other perspectives into one's own research and to form dialogues with other actors in the environment is becoming increasingly evident. At PAR, they seek to ensure that the residents welcome this approach at every stage of their stay.

With stays ranging from one to three months, residents will immerse themselves in the vibrant cultural scene of Buenos Aires, with the opportunity to explore different institutions and spaces and meet different actors of the scene. They will also share and work in workshops alongside local artists, creating bonds of coexistence, truly living in Buenos Aires. They propose a similar dynamic for its accommodations, which are shared not only with other PAR artists in residence but with Argentine artists who act as hosts willing to welcome others into their spaces and create work, collaborative and communal relationships. Residents will be able to create site-specific works or develop research that will be presented in an Open Studio open to the public. At PAR, they focus on the comprehensive support of artistic processes, but they also consider the exhibition of results as another learning opportunity. Exchange is the creative engine that encourages us to form an international network of artistic professionals and participate endlessly in it.

PAR International Art Program is now open for applications to participate in their 4 to 12 week residencies from February to November 2025.
