Founded in 2021 by Emanuela Fadalti and Matilde Cadenti, Spazio Berlendis unites Venice’s cultural legacy with contemporary creative practices. Located in a restored 18th-century shipyard, it hosts exhibitions, performances, artist residencies and multidisciplinary events, fostering dialogue between past and present. Spazio Berlendis provides project management and consulting services for the organization of art exhibitions and events.

Marignana Arte, in line with the research it has been promoting since 2013 across its various venues (Marignana Gallery, Marignana Project, Spazio Berlendis, Marignana Studio) and in other institutional spaces, is launching its first artist residency project, which will take place within Spazio Berlendis (Cannaregio 6301, Venice) and will conclude with an exhibition at Marignana Project (Dorsoduro 140 A, Venice).
The call is intended to support a production residency, a period of work and creation that will lead
to the realization of an exhibition at Marignana Project. The experience will offer the opportunity to develop a project of study and in-depth research also in relation to the city of Venice—its history, its many suggestions, and the stimuli it generates—through dialogue and exchange with the curatorial team of Marignana Arte.
