There are no grants or sponsorships for now, but they can provide a letter of acceptance to artists who would like to apply for sponsorships in their countries / other entities of support.

The physical residency program expresses it cost when the call opens.

The virtual residency costs USD 220 to USD 250 (includes the residency program + virtual open studio + access to scientist community + virtual exhibition for 5 to 6 months).

Description

MANGO is a residency for artists and researchers of all disciplines (visual arts, performance, writing, music, etc) and nationalities.
They offer programs in a rural context in Buenos Aires, Argentina allowing artists to be inspired in a natural environment.

They also offer Virtual and hybrid residency programs: with the particularity that they end with virtual and/or physical exhibitions in different spaces in Buenos Aires and around the world, in collaboration with other cultural spaces.

MANGO is motivated by the simple fact of finding a circle of empowerment with and among the residents. Naturally, a space for reflection, focus, introspection, experimentation, exchange and transformation is generated.

The programs focus on concepts around the ocean, land and the environment, linking with science and native communities, enabling artists to enhance their creative processes.

Physical program:
2 weeks physical residency program in rural context in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Exhibition program:
Circuit of artists' exhibitions for artists that have been residents in one of our programs.

Outcome

The artists can exchange, get inspired, focus and share with other artists.

Accommodation Information

They have their physical residency for 2 weeks in February 2026.
Private or shared room and bathroom in a 1930 rural farm.
Shared studio and shared living-room, kitchen.

Virtual Residencies use Google Meet once a week and Google Doc. Residents can connect anywhere in the world.

Studio Information

A big vintage shed to be shared. You can also use the outside immense rural space.
For research, writing and small format work you can also use the outside gallery or any common space (living-room, etc).

Technical Information

There´s a basic suppliers shop in town. If anything specific is needed, they will do their best to make it work.
