
Lviv National Academy of Arts
The main focus of the Lviv National Academy of Arts (LNAA) is professional training and education of creative personalities in the fields of fine and decorative arts, design, restoration, culturology, history and art management.
The European Glass Education international residence is an interdisciplinary open platform for exchanging artistic experience, co-creating original works by emerging and experienced artists, and searching for ways of improving the educational process. The residency is organized by the Department of Glass Art of the LNAA that is the only one of its kind in Ukraine. Residency participants - professors, students, and heads of the glass art departments from Eastern Europe - work for nine days in mixed international groups.

The Glass Art Department at LNAA has the following fully equipped workshops: blown glass furnace; cold treatment; kiln forming; stained glass and painting; processing of auxiliary materials; glass technology laboratory and computer laboratory. The residence is designed for participants who have working experience with glass art in any of these processing techniques.
25 residents at once can be hosted. Duo's and groups are welcome. However, partners and family of a resident cannot be hosted.
Organizers provide assistance in searching for accommodation, however the accommodation fees are covered by the participants.
Residents are provided with glass melt, color powders and rods for blown glass processing; fusing and stained glass; glass colors for painting. All additional materials must be covered by the residents.
