Land of Enchantment is a Cultural Asociación that supports artistic development, ecological awareness and well being. Through art workshops, performance nights and residencies they (re)learn together what it means to live sustainably and in harmony with each other, and the land. The homebase is a rustic eco home surrounded by forest near the coast of poetry, cliffs, wild storms, lighthouses and crystal beaches.

They believe that the planet needs as many dots on the map as possible where humans, animals and plants can thrive in harmony. The center is meant to be one of these dots. The residency programs stem from the mission to transform rural locations into vibrant artistic hubs. Therefore the events are meant as a meeting space between the local community and international artists.

Every start of the season they welcome 3-10 residents to work in community on their practice. You come to the essence of your work, re-align your workflow to the seasonal rhythm, get things done and be inspired by the landscape of Costa da Morte and the fellow-creators in the house.

The common ground is to use creation as a tool for well being social justice, personal transformation, building community or ecologic awareness.
