La briqueterie is a cultural venue entirely dedicated to contemporary dance, its project revolves around three axes: support for choreographic creation, the dissemination of shows (Biennale de danse du Val-de-Marne, Excentriques, etc.) and the development of artistic and cultural actions for various audiences.
La briqueterie is part of a strong European and international dynamic, through specific projects and networks. It also publishes a magazine to promote choreographic culture.

Creation residencies at la Briqueterie are open to companies (French and international) with a legal structure. It can involve a co-production contribution and/or a technical support, or be a simple loan. To apply for a residency - with contribution in co-production, industry or simple loan - la briqueterie sets up two calls for projects per year, in June and December.
