Kiosko Galería
Kiosko initiated its international residency program for contemporary art in May 2007 with the aim to create a meeting space in Bolivia and provide opportunity for exchange between artists from Bolivia and abroad. The residency provides living, workshop and exhibition space for a period of one to two months in the city of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. They generate encounter, dialogue and exchange of knowledge and experience, where ideas and processes intersect allowing reflection and learning in practice and enhancing contents. Also they encourage participants to take risks in their own practice and experience.
Expected results of the artistic residencies and curatorial projects are at least one public talk and one exhibition or final presentation presented during the period of the residency.
