The Terrarium project covers the cost of the Participant's Residence if the project has received a grant that covers all types of costs. In other cases - the participant pays the cost of participation in the Residence and accommodation. Please check the current open call for details.

Paid by artist:

For self-paid residencies, the fixed cost of participation for 2 weeks of stay is 18 000 UAH (~500 EUR) per person, for 1 month of stay - 26 000 UAH (~700 EUR) per person. This amount includes travel within Ukraine, accommodation, and meals. Consultations with script doctors are paid by the participants at will and individual need.

Normally, open calls are launched in spring. Please check the website for current open calls. Application forms are submitted free of charge.

Description

The activity of the Public Organization "Kinozona" is to help professional and beginner screenwriters to work on their own idea of ​​the script and on the script itself, namely - its development, improvement and completion.

Studio Information

There are no studio spaces, the program only accepts artists who write screenplays for film.

Accommodation Information

Separate rooms for each resident. Each room has a separate double bed, table, chair. Bathroom and toilet are shared for 3 rooms. Up to 10 residents can be hosted at once. Duo's and groups are not eligible to apply. Partners and family are welcome, but the cost of additional persons in the room is covered by the resident or their guest.
