Description

The Jobel Group, founded in Rome in 2000, carries out cultural promotion activities with particular attention to the language of theatre and live performances. These actions are divided into projects with a didactic theme (laboratories, workshops, seminars) and production (production of scenic works characterized by elements of research, innovation and multidisciplinary, distribution and organization of cultural events). Since 2011, a number of cultural exchange projects have also started with other countries. Since 2015, he has been the holder of residency projects that have received recognition from the Lazio Region and the mibac.

Gruppo Jobel – Art for Earth believes that art and creativity can play a critical role in order to produce the global mindset needed to achieve the goals, inspiring, energizing, shaking, and spreading commitment and information among local and international communities. For this reason, it promotes the incredible value of art, mainly supporting the expression of young generations of creatives to develop broad engagement about social and environmental topics, in collaboration with partners committed to sustainability all around the world.

The residency is a creative hub with international artistic prestige, endorsed by the Italian Ministry of Heritage and Cultural Activities. Location

Just outside of Rome, in the geographic center of Italy, a hilly landscape stretches in a still uncontaminated rural context lapped by the ancient “Road of Salt” (the Via Salaria), among the tiny town of Torricella in Sabina. In this land of olive trees, small medieval villages and beautiful lakes, the International Headquarters of Gruppo Jobel were established in 2003.

It hosts everyday artists, students, and Jobel partners from all over the world, organizing cultural initiatives such as rehearsals, workshops, training activities for schools and universities, Creative Campus and residential programs for artists.
