The Grange Projects
The Grange Projects hosts integrated artistic activity at The Grange in Norfolk. Organised by the artist family Dr Nicola Streeten, and John Plowman with help and advice from daughter Sally Plowman, The Grange is currently home to Nicola and John. Located in the small rural village of Great Cressingham, Norfolk, The Grange was originally built as a rectory. This wonderful Georgian house is set on 10 acres of tranquil gardens and grounds. It is a beautiful and magical place offering simple, comfortable accommodations and peace for everyone to benefit from.
The In Residence programme is a distinctive and Innovative Pay What You Can residency model LED BY ARTISTS FOR ARTISTS. They are hosting our residencies in the spirit of generosity and reciprocity, core values of everything that happens at The Grange Projects. To this end, they are offering this initiative on a Pay What You Can basis. The Grange offers an exceptional setting in nature to pursue your creative practice alongside ours. Their vision is to facilitate and participate in a convivial and generative atmosphere in which a key feature is a supportive, engaged feedback process with fellow residents. Participating residents will be able to pursue their projects alongside up to 8 other creatives made up of returning alumni, invited artists, new residents and them. You can expect to encounter an interesting mix of disciplines and interests.
The annual In residence programme runs from April-September.
The residencies will suit those working on a focused project they wish to realise within a specific time or those whose practice is more process and/or research orientated.
