Description

Every year, El Corralito promotes different residency programs in different modalities for projects by emerging artists. In this way, they seek to consolidate contemporary artistic practice, both locally and nationally.

El Galliner is the name of the creative space where the residences take place, an open space where people have access to support and accompaniment from the organization. The main objective is to offer support to young people so that they can develop their own research in the arts, as well as to bring them closer to the network of cultural and artistic resources from the city.

El Galliner is a space that works dynamically, depending on the artistic projects. A diaphanous space where you can develop your research in visual arts such as painting, drawing, design, fashion design, photography, or audiovisuals. They can also inquire about other fields.

Outcome

Presentation of the work generated during the residency and participation in other workshops or activities conducted at the centre.

Studio Information

The El Corralito creative space, known as "El Galliner," spans 230m2 and is divided into a central, open, and multidisciplinary area, two office spaces, a dining area, and restrooms. The entire space is shared with other ongoing projects, providing artists with the opportunity to coexist with other creations happening simultaneously.
