Dyski
Building a Sound Art Practice with Drs Sally Rodgers & Steve Jones
(Dyski. Pronounced [dɪski]. Verb; to learn, to teach (Cornish)).
Explore a magical Cornish landscape through the medium of sound with sound art and electronic music pioneers A Man Called Adam. On this inspirational artist residency, deep in the wilderness of West Penwith, Drs Sally Rodgers and Steve Jones will guide you on a transformational sonic journey through its woodlands, neothilic standing stones and spectacular coastal scenery to reveal the intimate, tiny sounds of nature, of dreams and imaginary worlds.
The residencies are organised by Dyski. The vision for Dyski is to offer cutting-edge immersive residential workshops that nurture creativity, emphasising community support and giving back. Each Dyski workshop includes two grants, designed to assist those who may need financial support to attend. One grant is available to Cornwall residents, and the other is open to anyone in the UK or Europe.
Beyond that also they offer concessions: 20% off for any Student or Teacher.
