The host will contribute 5000 Swiss francs maximum to assist with the resident’s project implementation costs, corresponding to the provision of materials, raw materials and firing. Any supplementary project implementation costs are to be met by the resident.

Workspace at CERCCO
Description

CERCCO is the Center for Experimentation and Realisation in Contemporary Ceramics of the Geneva University of Art and Design (HEAD – Genève). Since 2013 the Residency "WORKSPACE @ CERCCO" invites two residents for a 3 month stay. One Art-oriented and the other Design-oriented.

This offer is called Workspace at CERCCO and is open to designers, artists, architects and ceramists wishing to experiment and to carry out a specific project. CERCCO will make available a wide range of technical and artistic expertise, allowing the resident artist to work autonomously.

Outcome

A group of new works for the artist/designer, one piece will be integrated in the collection of Head - Genève.

Studio Information

Work place in the large studio of the CERCCO.

Technical Information

Apart form advanced technical equipment like the kilns and the CAD/CAM machinery, participants benefit from ceramic studio, a well supplied library.

Location

The CERCCO is located in the hyper Centre of Geneva. Five minutes walk to the lake, 10' with tramway from the most of the museums.
