The Cultural Center of Creació Casa Planas is the result of the efforts of three creatives to restore an old photography factory and transform it into a necessary platform for the city of Palma. Casa Plan promote culture by creating a platform for experimentation, research and creativity. Through visual, musical and scenic art shows that we organize from Casa Planas, there is a constant criticism of the ways of interpreting the culture and the "museification" of it, questioning the formal and aesthetic registers of art.

At the Creation Centre Casa Planas, it is available to have research residencies for creators and thinkers around art. The duration varies depending on the needs of the project. Art mediation projects that have a direct social relationship with our field of work and our neighbourhood, or projects that are related to the theme of archives, postcards, landscape, tourism and memory and which bring life into the Casa Planas archive and keep it from falling into oblivion, are especially valued.

There is a special focus on the areas of visual media, performance and art mediation. Casa Planas develops workspaces, research processes, the possibility of roundtables, knowledge-sharing workshops, meetings between artists, curators, collectives and other professionals in the sector in this programme.
