The Carpathian Literary Residency is an ongoing program that has been hosting writers, translators, literary researchers, and cultural managers annually since 2017. To date, it has welcomed 40 artists from Ukraine, Austria, Poland, and the Czech Republic. The project's mission is to provide a platform for interaction among contemporary Ukrainian writers from various genres, fostering experience exchange and enabling participants to work productively on their projects in a residency format, and to attract emerging authors by introducing them to the literary world, conduct extensive campaigns to promote authors and their works using modern communication and promotional tools, and create opportunities for networking and collaboration among residents from different years.

The main program of the residency includes:

• the opportunity to focus on your work for 2 weeks in the Carpathians
• joint meetings of participants
• lectures from experienced authors (1 lecture from each of the invited authors)
• educational lectures for emerging authors
• open readings
• an informal program featuring hikes, local history excursions, and activities requested by participants to explore the rich culture, traditions, and natural beauty of the Carpathian region.
