The monthly residency fee is €480 (without housing), with a minimum stay of one month, plus a €150 refundable security deposit. For duo artists (with a history of collaboration), an additional €100 fee applies. As bEam arts currently lacks financial support, selected artists are encouraged to seek funding to cover all associated costs

Application guidelines:

To apply for the bEam arts residency, please prepare the following:

  • Personal Information: Name, email, address, and phone number.
  • Residency Details: Preferred dates and duration of stay (1–2 months).
  • Artist’s Statement: A description of your practice/research and areas of interest (max. 250 words).
  • Project Proposal: Outline your residency project, motivation, and expectations (max. 250 words).
  • CV & Portfolio: Include 5–10 images of your work, with dimensions, technique, title, and date.

bEam Arts is an artist-led art space located in Thessaloniki, Greece, serving as a hub for artists, academics, and designers from around the world. It envisions a space where creativity intersects with cultural diversity, fostering an environment for artistic exploration. bEam Arts aims to create a place where emerging and established creatives can engage with Thessaloniki’s blend of historical heritage and contemporary energy. The goal is to encourage cross-disciplinary collaborations, dialogue, and experimentation.

Residents are encouraged to utilize the space to organize events, workshops, and activities that involve the local community, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas and building connections beyond the studio environment. Whether through public lectures, installations, or interactive workshops, the residency offers a platform for artists, academics, and designers to present their work and insights to a wider audience.
