
Atelierhaus Salzamt Linz
The studio Salzamt is a meeting place of young visual artists from home and abroad. In total there are nine studios are available.
Four international scholarship recipients will each provide a small apartment and a studio for a period of three to a maximum of six months provided free of charge. To cover their living expenses, the artists are provided with a monthly stipend. A fifth studio was leased to the province of Upper Austria. The aim is that in return Linz artists also for a period of up to six months in the Twin Cities’ studios and scholarships are made available.
Four more workshops will be awarded as no residential unit in charge of Linz and Upper Austrian artists. You can use these for a period of one year.
In the 170-square-foot exhibition hall on the ground floor of the Salt Office, the resulting works are presented in Linz in exhibitions. As well as lectures, discussions, presentations and other events take place here.
Five studios for international artist in residence, four studios for local artists from Linz or Upper Austria, accommodation for international artists, and exhibition spaces.
