It is open to applications from international professional artists working in the visual. Applicants may apply as a duo or a collective, but the resources provided remain the same. To participate, the application must include the following documents (pdf):

• Summary (max. 1000 characters) of the project proposal
• Short biography with a description of the artistic practice (max 1000 characters)
• Complete CV
• A cover letter with a detailed description and relevance of the project (max 2 pages)
• Portfolio in digital version presenting the professional artistic work done during the last 5 years
• Letter of recommendation from a professional in the applicant's artistic field and references

The application can be written in French or English.It is imperative to mention the date of the chosen or preferred residence in the letter. Applications should be sent by e-mail only to the following address: [a]ferme-asile.ch.

Applicants for a residency must indicate their preference for a specific two or three months period and
propose a second choice for another two or three months period. The available blocks are: October-December / March-May / June-September.

The Ferme-Asile cannot guarantee that the selected candidates will be able to carry out their residency
on the desired dates, and reserves the right to propose one or more other residency dates, until
satisfactory dates have been found for all the selected candidates.
