
Art House Holland
Art House Holland by PAC is an artist residence located in Leiderdorp, in a rural atmosphere, just a short trip away from the big cities like Leiden, The Hague, Rotterdam and Amsterdam. They offer the artist-in-residence programs for five artists, providing private spaces for self-directed residencies, with time, support and room for creativity.
The beneficiaries of the artistic residency can belong to any discipline and nationality - directed to culture professionals (commissaries, curator, artists, etc) with no age limit, who want to develop a creative or investigation project. The applicants must have a previous artistic background or qualifications which certifies them in the art or cultural field.
Work on their personal works and studies plus engage with other residents. The organizers ask each artist to donate one piece to be exposed during the Art House Holland exhibitions. All the project and artist get mentioned in a piece on the PAC website (Plataforma de Arte Contemporaneo), which is the most viewed online art magazine in spanish speaking countries.
Two studios, one is 150m2, focused on painting, sculpture making, with individual working tables, drawing tables and a wood workshop. The second studio is a printing workshop, dedicated to design, print making (60x100cm press) and silkscreen.
They offer 6 rooms that could fit two people. There are two bathrooms and an extra toilet. Additionally there is a shared kitchen and living space area.
