Vasl is an artist-led initiative that brings together local and international artists for periods of intense exchange through residencies, workshops, public events and outreach activities. Though largely based Karachi, Vasl activities extend across Pakistan, with residencies and events also taking place in Lahore and Islamabad.

Vasl is part of the Triangle Arts Network. It is a platform for Contemporary Pakistani Art and Artists. Vasl is comitted to creating spaces for exchange through residencies and workshops. Vasl has been conducting 1-5 artist residencies anually since 2003.
