Application guidelines:
Proposals must be for a seed idea for a project rather than a new piece in the final stages of development or revision. New projects in all performance disciplines including music, dance, theatre, spoken word, multi-disciplinary, and live performance that incorporate film and/or video are eligible. Projects are selected for artistic merit and commitment to culturally diverse work of the highest quality.

Description
The Tribeca Performing Arts Center organizes an annual residency from July 1 to June 30 . The AIR Program enables emerging and established theatre artists, writers, directors, choreographers, and composers to create and develop new work. AIR is supports professional artists at the beginning of their career or established artists who are moving into new creative roles in the development of new original work. The residency takes place on site in Tribeca PAC’s two theatres and spans a twelve-month period. Public showings of the work in process and the opportunity for a produced presentation are significant components of the residency. Individual artists or small companies without homes are eligible to apply.
Outcome
The program culminates in a 3-week Work & Show Festival in the spring and showcases selected projects for two to three public performances.
