Reiss Arti Performative
Reiss Arti Performative has been operating in the city of Turin for ten years, in an industrial area in the North of Turin. The base of the Association, inside the premises of the ex Scuola Caccia in via Reiss Romoli 45, created in order to support projects of performing arts, found itself to be an observatory of the reality which surrounded it and, consequently, to receive urgency signals, in particular from young people, probing the possibilities and the abilities of both people and territory, connecting demand and proposals. Reiss Arti Performative has launched an open call for budding and independent groups, or single professional artists, who work in the domain of performing arts. The announcement aims to enhance and promote realities oriented towards the research and experimentation of proper and personal languages through the assignment of creative residences in which artists can spend a working period with the aim of developing an artistic project (theatre, dancing, video, web, photos, installations, painting etc.) which has the ability to suggest forms of innovation and interaction with the E14 quarter, where the residence area is located. The project will culminate in a final performance open to the audience in which the process which was developed during the period of residence will be shown (open rehearsal, urban performance, installation, projection, exhibition, concert, reading etc.). The aim is also to promote an interactive cycle of dialogue, comparison and exchange in order to involve artists, sector operators, critics and audience about the theme of the creative processes related to the territory.
