A vehicle is mandatory, as Lindre-Basse is relatively isolated and few public transport options connect the village to cities such as Metz or Nancy.
The residency is located 30 minutes by car from Delme and requires a minimum of daily autonomy from the artists, since the art center's team works geographically on a site other than that of the residency.
Oral proficiency in French is also necessary.
The residency does not lead to an exhibition at the art center but to a scheduled open studio at the end of the residency.

With an area of about 70m2 and a ceiling height of 6m, the studio is equipped with workbenches, tables, a water point, and basic equipment that is supplemented, as needed, by the center's tools. It has a concrete floor, a bay window, wide doors, and a remote-controlled lifting system. It is also equipped with a telephone line and high-speed internet connection. A printer and scanner are available for residents.
The apartment consists of two bedrooms with two adjoining bathrooms, a mezzanine living room overlooking the studio, a kitchen, and a garden.

The studio apartment is located in the heart of the village of Lindre-Basse (300 inhabitants), in the Regional Natural Park of Lorraine and two kilometres from Dieuze (4000 inhabitants), in Moselle. The Lindre-Basse estate is a vast natural area consisting of a pond, which hosts fish and bird activities. It takes an hour to reach Metz and Strasbourg, and about 40 minutes to Nancy. Please note that the residency is a half-hour drive from the art centre in Delme, and therefore the resident does not live on a daily basis with the art centre team.
