The Field Kitchen Academy offers 3 scholarships. The scholarship holders will be selected by the Jury. The Field Kitchen Academy offers 1 (one) scholarship to a successful applicant selected by the Jury. The scholarship covers the entire residency fee for Module #3 (between 31 July - 24 August), including the expenses for accommodation, meals and attendance to public events. Travel and subsistence costs are not included in the scholarship. The applicant can be from any nationality and any background.

With the kind support of Goethe-Institut, The Field Kitchen Academy offers scholarships to 2 (two) successful applicants from DAC countries. This scholarship covers the entire residency fee for Module #3 (between 31 July - 24 August), including the expenses for flights, health, liability and accident insurance for the two participants for their time in Germany, accommodation, meals and attendance to public events.

Please indicate in the application form if you wish to apply for the grant. You will be notified of the result in due course.

Paid by artist:

Applications can be made for Module #3 (Module #1 plus Module #2) for the entire period (1200 eur) or only for Module #1 (620 eur) for 1 week or only for Module #2 (920 eur) for approximately 3 weeks. The participation fee covers accommodation for the entire period, 3 plant-based meals (breakfast, lunch, dinners, plus tea time snacks) every day, the program fee for the entire working sessions, the conceptual dinners in the weekends, site and natural reserves visits and participation in the public program.

The FIELD KITCHEN ACADEMY is an interdisciplinary educational residency programme that gathers artists/ creative minds, a resident chef and prominent experts from different fields together around a kitchen table through mind-opening acts and actions.

Ten residents will be selected to join the upcoming FIELD KITCHEN ACADEMY between 31 July - 24 August September 2022. Curated by Ece Pazarbasi, the third edition of the Field Kitchen Academy will be realised under the title of Voice as Object, Object (H)as Voice. During 3,5 weeks, the Field Kitchen Academy will host public events (the Field), closed working sessions (the Kitchen) and conceptual cooking actions in Wüsten-Buchholz, Perleberg; app. 1,5 hrs away from Berlin.
With three modules, the residents will have the opportunity of pursuing processes of experimentation, discussion, trial and error, progression of knowledge, know-how and creativity together with Sam Auinger, Graham Harman, Saadet Türköz, Hans Rosenström, Martin Riches, Zeynep Bulut, Brandon LaBelle, Ji Woo & Sun Woo (Zen Masters) and guest ventriloquist during the first 3 weeks. The last half week will be the ‘simmering’ period where the residents are expected to do NOTHING.
