Founded:
2004
Duration:
3 weeks, starting in march
Paid by host:

Artists will be provided with housing, audio and video equipment, food and a social space for the artists-in-residence to network with other artists and local publics. Other trips to local spots of interest or to the performance spaces are also supported by the organization.

Paid by artist:

Artists will only have to pay their trip to/from Nodar.

Application guidelines:

Binaural and Associação Nodar strongly encourage that the artists-in-residency establish interaction with the place, its inhabitants, geographic space and memory. Every year Binaural/Nodar launches an open call for projects with a specific subject and only from that time it is possible to send residency proposals (probable period for the launch of the open call: April/May for projects to be developed on the following year). The artist residences have a defined subject to be announced every year, therefore artists are advised not to send projects that do not fit with that subject.

2014 open call can be found here: "Paths of Rural Mobility"
