Ceramic Artists Residency in Petrinja

Ceramic Studio Petrinja offers the opportunity for 3 residents to spend 2 months in Petrinja, Croatia

Ceramic Studio Petrinja was founded in 2020 by Association GRAK, a non-profit organization. The studio is artistic, but also a social project. They like to use clay as a medium that can reduce the social isolation of vulnerable groups. In addition to developing creativity, clay also has therapeutic properties. It turned out to be very important, especially in the period after they became the epicenter of the destructive earthquake.

The organisers aim to offer the community an open ceramic studio where residents can develop knowledge and skills about contemporary ceramic art based on traditional pottery. The studio is a place for creative socializing and the exchange of knowledge and experience. They are helping in developing the knowledge and skills by users of ceramic studio and creating a stimulating environment for the revitalization of traditional pottery, the development of contemporary art, and entrepreneurial ideas.

They offer opportunity for 3 residents for 2 months in Petrinja, Croatia. All costs of the artist's residency are covered by the European Union through the Creative Europe program, sub-program Culture Moves Europe.
