Red Gate Gallery
Red Gate Residency is an international artist residency program, providing artists, curators, writers, and academics with the opportunity to live and create work in China. Its objective is to provide facilities for artists to easily start their projects and offer a community in which they can participate as much as they like.
Bei Gao Studio/Loft Spaces:
Red Gate's six studio/lofts are set in Feijiacun situated on the north side of Beijing. The site has been converted into a series of studios and apartments. Downtown Tuanjiehu Apartments:
Red Gate has three one-bedroom apartments in Chinese housing on the east side of Beijing close to the embassy and business districts. These apartments are situated in very local neighbourhoods allowing the residents to experience the traditional and modern flavours of Beijing; in many cases you will be the only foreigner on the block.
