Description

The CCA was founded in 2001 by Jacob and Patricia Asbaek. The 4000 m2 building with a minimal but traditional style is perfectly integrated with the breathtaking natural scenery of its surroundings and is one of the largest centres of contemporary art in the Balearic Islands as well as in the rest of Europe. In conjunction with the presentation of high-profile international contemporary art by CCA Kunsthalle, CCA offers an artist-in-residence program. CCA Andratx assigns to artists 4 studios free of charge for a period of 3 to 6 weeks.

Outcome

Sometimes works developed in the studios could be exhibited in the gallery.

The studios are located on the ground-floor of the building. With 120 m2 of surface, the studios are fully equipped with kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom.
