Week 3: The correct sounds for the instruction of the people

"Yes You can learn Korean language structure in 40 minutes". This is one of the books I've been studying the last week. The Korean alphabet Hangeul is one of the most efficient and easy languages in the world. Though I seem to have a blind spot for the phonetic order and spelling, so these 40 minutes seem a bit optimistic.

Hangeul was created under King Sejong during the Jeseon Dynasty (1392-1910). In 1446 the first Korean alphabet was proclaimed Hunminjeongeum, which meant  "the correct sounds for the instruction of the people". It's an interesting story. Meanwhile time flies. And three months seem rather short to deepen the relation and understanding of the things you meet at first sight.

Last Sunday, a stroll along the Han river with Cha Ryoung. A favorite spot for biking and taking long walks and as you can see also for fishing. As Cha Ryoung explained me, they were critiquing their friend?s fishing techniques, as they have never seen him catch any fish there. The last picture is Seonyudo Park. This island in the Han river is a former water purification plant, rebuilt into a very nice small park.
