A-i-R Wro Talks about residencies in Europe

DutchCulture | TransArtists is invited to join the second edition of A-i-R Wro Talks hosted in Sokołowsko and Wroclaw, Poland – the latter is the current European capital of culture.

A-i-R Wro Talks’ main goal is to support the exchange of knowledge and experience between professionals and to continue the networking aspect of last year’s edition. The agenda includes workshops and panel discussions with cultural mobility experts and practitioners, artists, curators, freelancers, professionals, individuals and collectives. During these three days, the participants of the A-i-R Wro Talks will have an opportunity to discuss the role of artist-in-residence programmes in the cultural sector, their various models as well as the fundraising issues and their financial status across Europe.

Our editor and education coordinator Bojana Panevska will give a workshop on the international artist-in-residence field. The meeting takes place from November 29th to December 1st  in Wrocław and Sokołowsko, Poland. The detailed schedule will be provided soon.

A-i-R Wro Talks is organised as part of Artist-in-Residence Programme A-i-R Wro, which is a long-term and interdisciplinary project established under the auspices of the European Capital of Culture Wrocław 2016.
