UrbanGlass
The UrbanGlass Studio Residency annually provides four emerging glass artists the opportunity to create a new body of work through supported studio experimentation. Since 2016, the residency has provided more than 18 artists and designers with the essential resources of space, education, and time to turn their ambitious ideas into reality.
At the end of their residency, selected artists will present their work, discuss their practice, and connect with the greater UrbanGlass community with an artist-talk or similar public program.
UrbanGlass’ 17,000-square-foot state-of-the-art glass studio offers a complete glassworking studio with a hot shop, cold shop, flameworking studio, neon shop, mold shop, and kiln shop. Residents may make use of any or all of these areas of the studio.
Fellowship does not include room and board.
Scheduled access to all UrbanGlass studios, technical support and instruction.
