Teton Artlab assists artists by providing studio space, exhibition and performance opportunities, and access to shared resources.

Description of the residency programme: Teton Artlab offers the only year round residency program within 1 hour of two National Parks, Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Visiting artists receive free housing and studio space along with a modest stipend. Artists have access to endless miles of trails, rivers, and forest.

Teton Artlab is a member of the Alliance of Artists' Communities and of ResArtis.


Visiting artists are asked to present their work once through multi-media presentation/slideshow and participate in a residency concluding open studio.

Accommodation Information 

Private room and bathroom next to the studios. Groups may be hosted, and partners/spouses are allowed. There is only one bedroom, so family stay will be a challenge, but it is possible.

Studio Information 

Private 165-300 square feet.

Technical Information 

Shared space includes facilities for printmaking and shared tools. Access to ceramic kilns, darkroom, printmaking facilities in the nearby Center for the Arts.


Jackson Hole, Wyoming is one of the world's most beautiful places and includes Grand Teton National Park, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, and the National Elk Refuge to name a few features. Under 60 miles to Yellowstone's south entrance.
