Artists purchase their own food and prepare their own meals, individual traveling expenses, working material, personal needs.
Residency is open to emerging and professional artists, writers, architects, natural scientists and musicians. Applications are accepted online through the Center's website. $15 application fee.
To expand the relationship between art, nature, and humanity to maintaining a facility appropriate to its needs that is in harmony with the inspirational coastal environment of Cascade Head.
The Sitka Center also offers the Jordan Schnitzer Printmaking Residency (for non-printmakers), which was established in 2002 to provide artists with little or no printmaking experience a 2-week residency to explore a new creative medium with guidance, instruction and technical assistance from a master etching printer.
Individual apartments separate from studio
On the central Oregon coast in the Cascade National Scenic Research Area and near the Salmon River Estuary and Pacific Ocean.
