Description

Addressed to foreign or French artists, the residence aims, on the one hand, to support contemporary art creation by providing a studio (and an accomodation in case of the 12 months residency). On the other hand, with the production support for the realisation of an outside piece that will follow a work-in-residence and a reflection on this area, along with the connections worn with locals and a group of employees of the company. Through these actions, what will prevail is the eduction of people to contemporary art, the enriching of local cultural and artistic life and the commitment of Logirem’s employees to this project. In Bricarde area, the artists will have to immerge in the very heart of the city in order to connect with its inhabitants and be inspired by the site's outskirt which offers a unique panorama of Marseille's bay. In Fonscolombes, the artists will enjoy an proliferation of initiatives related to its near downtown Friche Belle de Mai.
