Sea Loft supports new art and pioneers cutting-edge responses to the environment through an ecocentric spirit of exploration, risk-taking and international collaboration. The hosts aim to open-up the potential for artistic experimentation, international partnership and projects that are responsive to the socio-environmental context. Sea Loft's work is guided by an interest in international currents in contemporary art and by a shared spirit that sees the social and transformative potential of creative collaboration. The residency programme is a combination of research, experimenting, exhibiting (visual art, design, architecture, film installation etc); that will be unafraid of being critically challenging and experimental.
