Pouch Cove Foundation
Inc. James Baird Gallery
It had been funded by the Baird Family in an effort to help Newfoudlander's learn about and see more visual art and to let visual artists experience our unique culture and way of life. Part of the pleasure of the program is the casual nature of the arrangement the place.
Combined with studio. Each studio is 1,200 square feet with two bedrooms with double beds, kitchen with fridge, stove, sink, and a bathroom.
The Pouch Cove Foundation is housed in a converted elementary school building nestled between forest and sea on three acres of land. The town has a Provincial Park, blueberry picking grounds, hiking trails and a century old lighthouse.
