Artists working in any medium who have achieved considerable professional distinction and would like to investigate the possibilities of working in glass are invited to send professional portfolios. In the spring and fall seasons, Pilchuck offers residency programs for independent artists of outstanding accomplishment. (Emerging- and Professional AIR).
To provide an opportunity for artists with prior achievement in glass and other visual arts media who seek a place and time to develop a particular idea or project involving glass. At PGS each year internationally renowned artists gather to work with students from as many as 22 countries and 30 states. Experimentation, investigation, teamwork, and personal growth are emphasized, production is not. Emerging artists are invited to benefit from a stimulating environment supporting their transition from the academic to the professional world.
Located on 64 acres tree farm, 50 miles north of Seattle.
