The Parc Saint Léger supports research and production in contemporary art through the organisation of artists’ residencies. These are held following either a call for applications within the framework of one of their two programmes – Résidences Secondaires or Excellence des métiers d'art – or by invitation to exhibit at the art centre or as part of the Hors les Murs programme.
THE SECOND HOMES RESIDENCY
Since 2007, the Parc Saint Léger, French Contemporary Art Center, offer twice a year a program of 3 months residencies, dedicated to the emerging creation: the “Second Homes”. Each year, a jury selects 4 artists or group of artists for the next year. The “Second Homes” program wishes to discover, support and promote the work and practices of french and foreign artists. The Contemporary Art Center undertakes the artists’ production and helps them get access to national and international networks. Also, the Contemporary Art Center tends to give to the artists in residency technical and human means to work in the best conditions.
