MMCA Goyang Residency
Domestic/International Residency Exchange Programs



Description
Run by the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA), Korea, the Goyang Residency provides two types of residency exchangee programs in order to encourage and support artistic creativity and to make Korean contemporary art known to the world.
- International Residency Exchange Programs: since 2005 the National Residency supports International Residency Exchange Programs for studio artists in co-operation with major institutions running artist-in-residence programs abroad such as Australia, Germany, France, New Zealand, Japan and Taiwan. Through the International Residency Exchange Programs, The Goyang Residency gives opportunities to Korean artists to work in an overseas studio and experience and activate international exchange of the Residency.
- Domestic Residency Exchange Programs: the Goyang Residency has conducted exchange programs with domestic specialized residency programs for studio artists. Participant artists can elevate the creative motivation in a new environment that has facilities and specialized programs so that the Goyang Residency makes the close relationships with domestic organizations.
Accommodation Information
Accommodation will be provided by the host Institution in a location suitable for the participants.
